LAX 1961

LAX, Los Angeles (1961)

Travelers arrived at the recently modernized Los Angeles International Airport as jet-age architecture came into full view. The new terminals, with their clean lines and sleek style, stood as symbols of futuristic design. Families gathered curbside to see off loved ones, while bellhops hauled luggage under the concrete arches. Airplanes lined up on the tarmac, including early commercial jets preparing for departure. The iconic Theme Building was still new, catching the attention of every visitor. LAX was fast becoming a gateway to the Pacific and a major hub for California
